When the first game of the world series
The runs were all scored off reliever Luke Weaver, the Yankees’ closer who had pitched remarkably throughout October. Inheriting a bases-loaded, no-out jam, Weaver gave up the tying and eventual winning run on the sacrifice flies, which were sandwiched around a catcher’s interference that allowed superstar Shohei Ohtani to reach base.< https://shazam-codes.com/ /p>
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts granted reliever Blake Treinen a second inning of work in the eighth, and even stuck with him after Judge doubled and Chisholm walked. Treinen repaid that trust, inducing a weak fly ball from Stanton and striking out Rizzo with a nasty sweeper. Treinen flexed, pointed two index fingers to the sky and walked off, spent, after 42 pitches.
After taking advantage of three miscues to erase a five-run, fifth-inning deficit during one of the most memorable midgame meltdowns in baseball history, the Dodgers used eighth-inning sacrifice flies from Gavin Lux and Mookie Betts to beat New York 7-6 on Wednesday night.

When a reporter asked Leiter about the challenge of coming in five innings after first warming up, he didn’t hide his emotions. He let out a deep breath and joked that he was glad a video camera had just departed the locker room scrum.

To set the scene: The Dodgers took a 2-0 lead in the first inning thanks to another Freddie Freeman homer. The Yankees answered with a run in the second inning, but a base-running blunder from Anthony Volpe may have cost them a chance to tie the game.

Volpe grew up in New Jersey wanting to be Jeter, and in Game 4, Volpe had his Jeter moment. Volpe’s go-ahead grand slam in the third inning seemed to change everything for the Yankees. Finally playing with a lead, their bats came alive and their bullpen was unbeatable. (And just for good measure, Volpe added a double, a walk, three runs, and a terrific play in the field.)
What is the most popular game in the world
The game’s concept is simple, encouraging many casual PC and mobile gamers to have a dabble. Players enter teams of five and lock horns in player-v-player (PvP) combat. Teams must battle to defend their half of the map while doing everything they can to take control of their opponent’s half. Its inclusion as a market-leading esports title also cements League of Legends as one of the most popular games in the world this year.
Given its critical role in the rising popularity of battle royale games over the last five years, it’s unsurprising that PUBG has been such a massive sales success. Krafton creative director Dave Curd told The Verge it has sold 75 million copies of PUBG as of December 2021. That will likely be the shooter’s final sales tally, as it went free to play a month later in January 2022.
While not exactly a game on its own, Roblox remains one of the most popular game platforms ever. Initially launched in 2006, the platform had a rocky start, but flourished over the years as a leading game platform, with around 67 million daily active users and over 210 million monthly active users.
In the ever-evolving realm of gaming, a few titles have etched their names in history as the best-selling and most popular. Topping the list is Minecraft, a sandbox game that has become a cultural phenomenon with over 200 million copies sold.
Loved (and hated) by millions of players worldwide, Fortnite is a multiplayer online battle royale game. Developed and published by Epic Games in 2017, the game was quick to assert itself as the leading game in the genre, amassing over 350 million registered players in only 4 years. Since its release, Fortnite has maintained a steady monthly active user count, hovering at around 80 million players – which is no easy feat!
